Dear Reader March - May 2009

A very big welcome to the 8th issue of The Eye. As you see we have had a face lift in our layout, I hope you find this an improvement. This issue we have our lead article on Lengwe National Park, big thanks to Max del Bufalo. John Hopkins tells us the benefits of massage and we have Scotch Whiskey – where it’s made and how to drink it! Also, the 3rd of Doc’ Stockleys article on Malaria, Mozzies and Mzungu. Big thanks to all our advertisers and contributors alike, without whom this publication would not be possible. Have yourselves a fantastic Easter and arrive alive! Stay tuned for The Eye Zambia – we will keep you posted. Until next time take care of yourself and each other.

This issue welcomes a fantastic lead article on Zomba, which you will find is longer than our usual lead as it was kindly put together by 2 people, both having knowledge and a background of Zomba, the pulse of the warm heart of Africa. An area which really should be considered a recommended tourist destination in Malawi and should be explored, so a great big thank you to Karolin Stahl & Mark Jones for their efforts.

Doctor Stockley gives us his insight with ‘fit feet an amazing feat’. We see part 5 of our Wine Appreciation Course and we welcome a new ‘education’ article in The Eye, dedicatedly written by Peter Sloan of St Andrews Primary, thanks to him.

We have updated, to the best of our ability the map of Lilongwe & Blantyre. Anyone who would like to help with updates to these, please email us at design@theeye.co.mw

Thanks to all advertisers for your contributions, The Eye has one of the best distribution platforms, I know, as I do it! This has been carefully monitored, added to and deleted from. This is important for you the advertiser to take into consideration when deciding on where to put your budget! So thank you for noting this.

Until next time, take care of your selves and each other
